The Asthma Foundation WA has a dedicated team of volunteers who provide great support to the Foundation. The roles and tasks for volunteers are varied and include assisting with mail-outs, data entry, event assistance and general office duties.

Each year, in acknowledgement of the valuable contributions made by volunteers, the Foundation hosts an annual Volunteer Appreciation function. This is an opportunity for the Foundation to congratulate and thank all our volunteers for the wonderful work undertaken across all areas during the year.

Mailout Assistance

We have several mailouts during the year from our West Perth premises, and any time at all you can offer is much appreciated. Lunch is provided as well as the good company of our current team of volunteers who are very friendly and make newcomers feel most welcome.

Database Entry

The Foundation has a large database to manage and requires assistance form anyone who may have the skills to help or be willing to learn some new skills.

Event assistance

The Asthma Foundation WA hosts a range of exciting events each year to increase asthma awareness and raise much needed funds for asthma research. Events include the Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma, the National Asthma Week Street Appeal as well as a host of corporate events.
