The Opportunity

Do you:

  • have direct marketing experience and are looking for the next step in your career?
  • love crafting emotive content across multiple channels?
  • enjoy working in a creative environment that encourages growth and innovation?

We invite you to join the next exciting stage of Asthma WA’s growth as we embark on a new fundraising strategy.

If you love connecting with people and creating innovative campaigns, this new role at Asthma WA combines creativity, strategy and analysis that helps make a difference to your community.

Working as part of the Community Engagement team, the role is responsible for implementing direct marketing and regular giving strategies across a variety of channels to engage, retain and convert donors to maximise fundraising revenue within agreed budgets and timelines.

The role also engages with our major donors and Gifts in Wills supporters, ensuring they are acknowledged and stewarded to continue to give and support our mission.

Please refer to the Position Description for key responsibilities of the role and selection criteria.

About You

You will have previous experience in direct marketing and campaign management across multiple channels including planning, briefing, targeting, proof-reading, budgeting and monitoring results.

Previous fundraising experience is not essential but will be highly regarded.

As the role will be varied, you will thrive working on multiple projects, prioritising as necessary.

You will be equally comfortable creating content, and diving into data to gain valuable insights and optimise lean budgets.

You will also be a proven storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills with superior attention to detail.

How to Apply

Please address your covering letter to Donna Rendell, CEO, outlining your experience developing and implementing direct marketing communications and journeys and share your experience tracking and analysing the performance of campaigns.

Please also include a current resume.

We will start shortlisting straight away, so don’t delay.

If you’d like a confidential conversation regarding the role, please email ceo@asthmawa.org.au
